The MHW-3BOMBER Yu Series Cyclone Needle Distributor was developed to evenly distribute coffee grounds in the portafilter. When pressed down, the base lowers and rotates with 14 precisely arranged needles. The arrangement based on the principle of concentric circles helps break up coffee clumps and distribute the ground coffee evenly in the puck.

The fine needles penetrate the coffee grounds and support a more homogeneous distribution before tamping. This is intended to reduce the risk of channeling and support a more even extraction.

The working depth of the needles is adjustable, so that the Cyclone can be adapted to different basket depths. Magnets installed inside ensure stability and adhesion during use. In the resting state, the needles are stored protected.

With its black aluminum alloy handle and base as well as needles made of SUS304 stainless steel, the distributor combines a high-quality feel with a well-thought-out workflow. In addition to the 14 installed needles, six replacement needles are included in the delivery.
